GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Last updated: September 3, 2026
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms and Conditions”) define the conditions applicable to the purchase and use of training courses, programmes, support services, events, workshops, seminars, retreats, digital content and other services offered by AdvisorOne Academy. Any order implies that the Client has read and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1. Service Provider
AdvisorOne Academy services are provided by:
AdvisorOne Academy SARue Kléberg 14 1201 Geneva Switzerland
UID: CHE-352.354.122 Email: contact@advisoroneacademy.com
Hereinafter referred to as “AdvisorOne Academy”, “the Academy” or “we”.
2. Purpose of These Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between AdvisorOne Academy and any individual or legal entity purchasing a service offered by the Academy, hereinafter referred to as the “Client”. They apply in particular to online training courses, educational programmes, individual or group support programmes, Group Calls, webinars and masterclasses, workshops, events, in-person seminars, retreats and immersive experiences, workbooks, guides and digital resources, as well as any other products or services offered by AdvisorOne Academy.
The specific characteristics of each offer are those presented on the website, sales page, order form or any other commercial proposal provided to the Client at the time of purchase.
3. Nature of the services
AdvisorOne Academy is a financial education platform. Our courses and content are intended to help participants develop their financial knowledge, better understand their situation, structure their thinking and become more autonomous in their decisions.
Unless a specific agreement expressly provides otherwise, the content offered by AdvisorOne Academy is provided for educational and informational purposes only. In particular, it does not constitute personalised investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, a recommendation to buy or sell a financial instrument, portfolio management, a guarantee of returns or a promise of financial results.
Each participant remains responsible for their own financial, wealth management and investment decisions. Where the Client’s situation requires regulated or specialised advice, it is the Client’s responsibility to consult a qualified professional.
4. Presentation of Offers
AdvisorOne Academy offers various levels of training and support, which may include video content, educational documents, exercises, workbooks, quizzes, practical tools, access to a digital platform, live group sessions, webinars, individual appointments, in-person events, seminars, retreats or immersive experiences.
Each offer is independent, and its exact content is specified at the time of purchase. Visuals, descriptions, programmes and presentations are intended to provide the Client with the most accurate information possible. AdvisorOne Academy may change the format or educational organisation of a programme, provided that its essential content and overall value are maintained.
5. Orders
The Client selects the offer they wish to purchase and follows the ordering process indicated on the website. Before final confirmation, the Client must have the opportunity to verify the main information relating to their order, including the selected service, the price, their contact details and, where applicable, the payment terms.
The order becomes final when the Client confirms the order, accepts these Terms and Conditions and makes payment according to the available payment methods. An electronic confirmation may subsequently be sent to the Client.
AdvisorOne Academy reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in particular in the event of an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, a declined payment, an unresolved previous dispute with the Client, misuse of the services or an objective inability to provide the service. Where an order is cancelled by AdvisorOne Academy before the service begins and without any fault on the part of the Client, any amounts received for that service will be refunded.
6. Price
The applicable prices are those displayed at the time of the order. Unless otherwise stated, prices are expressed in Swiss francs (CHF). AdvisorOne Academy is not subject to VAT; prices are therefore stated without VAT. The price applicable to the Client remains the price accepted at the time of the order, even if the price of the offer changes subsequently. Promotions, founding member rates, promotional codes and other commercial benefits are valid only during the announced period, may be subject to specific conditions, are not retroactive and generally cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.
7. Payment
The accepted payment methods are those offered at the time of the order.Depending on the offer, payment may be made in one instalment or in several instalments.
Where payment in instalments is offered, this constitutes solely a payment facility for the total price of the service and, unless expressly stated otherwise, does not constitute a monthly subscription that may be cancelled at any time. The Client therefore undertakes to pay the full agreed price in accordance with the payment schedule accepted at the time of the order.
8. Instalment Payments and Payment Default
Where payment is made in instalments, the Client must ensure that a valid payment method is available throughout the payment schedule. If an instalment payment fails, AdvisorOne Academy may contact the Client to regularise the situation.
If the situation is not regularised within a reasonable period, AdvisorOne Academy may temporarily suspend access to content, suspend participation in sessions or events and request payment of outstanding amounts. Suspension of access does not cancel any amounts already due under the contract. Any measures taken remain subject to the mandatory legal provisions applicable to the Client.
9. Invoicing
An invoice or proof of payment may be provided to the Client electronically. The Client is responsible for the accuracy of the billing information provided. Any request for modification must be sent promptly to: contact@advisoroneacademy.com.
10. Access to Digital Training
Where an offer includes online training, the information required to access it is provided after payment has been validated or in accordance with the specific conditions of the offer. Access is strictly personal.
The Client undertakes not to share their login details, allow a third party to use their account, copy or distribute content, record or reproduce videos without authorisation, download content where a download function is not expressly provided or make materials available to other persons. AdvisorOne Academy may suspend access where it has reasonable grounds to believe that an account is being used fraudulently or shared without authorisation.
11. Access Period
The duration of access to content is indicated in the description of each offer at the time of purchase. Where an offer provides access for a fixed period, access ends when that period expires.
Where an offer refers to “lifetime access”, this expression means, unless otherwise stated, access for as long as the programme remains operated and technically available through AdvisorOne Academy. It does not constitute an obligation to maintain indefinitely software, a platform or a programme that has become obsolete. If content presented as permanently accessible is permanently discontinued, AdvisorOne Academy will endeavour, where reasonably possible, to allow the Client to retrieve the relevant downloadable resources.
12. Supported Programmes and Live Sessions
Certain offers include webinars, masterclasses, group appointments, individual sessions or online events. Dates are communicated by AdvisorOne Academy according to the programme schedule.
The Client is responsible for attending the sessions. Failure to attend a group session does not entitle the Client to a refund. Where provided for in the offer, a replay may be made available. However, AdvisorOne Academy does not guarantee that a replay will be available for every session, particularly in the event of a technical issue or where the confidentiality of discussions makes recording inappropriate.
13. Individual Appointments
Where an individual appointment is included in an offer or purchased separately, the Client undertakes to respect the agreed appointment time. Any request to reschedule or cancel must be communicated as soon as possible. Except in exceptional circumstances or where different conditions are specified at the time of booking, an appointment may be rescheduled free of charge when cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. Where an appointment is cancelled less than 48 hours in advance or the Client fails to attend, the session may be considered as having taken place. AdvisorOne Academy remains free to assess exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
14. In-Person Events, Workshops, and Seminars
Where the Client purchases a place for an event, workshop or seminar scheduled for a specific date, registration is personal. Unless otherwise stated, it may not be resold or transferred without the prior approval of AdvisorOne Academy.
The Client is responsible for transportation, accommodation where this is not included, travel documents, insurance, personal expenses and compliance with communicated schedules and instructions. The items specifically included in the price are stated on the offer page or in the registration confirmation.
15. Transformation, Full Experience, and Retreats
Certain offers may include a multi-day stay, seminar or retreat. The description of the offer specifies what is included and what remains the responsibility of the participant. Depending on the circumstances, flights, transfers, travel insurance, additional care or treatments, optional activities and personal expenses may be excluded.
The participant is responsible for having valid identification documents, any required visas, appropriate travel insurance, appropriate health insurance coverage and the physical ability required for the activities in which they choose to participate. AdvisorOne Academy particularly recommends that participants take out insurance covering cancellation, travel and repatriation risks for the relevant stays.
Health and fitness to participate. Certain activities offered during retreats and immersive experiences, such as yoga, physical warm-ups, body-based workshops or wellness activities, involve physical participation. By registering, the participant declares that their health allows them to take part in the activities they choose and undertakes to inform AdvisorOne Academy of any relevant contraindication, medical condition, injury, pregnancy, allergy or dietary restriction. AdvisorOne Academy may request a health declaration before the stay. The participant remains solely responsible for assessing their fitness and participates in activities under their own responsibility. They remain free not to participate in any activity they consider unsuitable for their condition. These activities do not constitute medical care, treatment or medical advice and do not replace advice from a healthcare professional.
16. Cancellation of an event by the Client
Specific conditions communicated at the time of booking an event or stay shall prevail where applicable. In the absence of specific conditions, a cancellation request may be considered by AdvisorOne Academy taking into account, in particular, the date of cancellation, costs already incurred, non-refundable bookings made for the participant and the possibility of replacing the participant.
Costs actually incurred and which cannot be recovered may be deducted from any refund where permitted by law. For seminars, retreats or trips requiring significant commitments to external service providers, specific cancellation conditions will be communicated to the Client before booking.
17. Cancellation or modification by AdvisorOne Academy
AdvisorOne Academy may need to modify a date, a time, a speaker or facilitator, a venue, the organisation of a session or certain practical arrangements. Where a modification does not substantially alter the service, it does not automatically entitle the Client to a refund.
If AdvisorOne Academy must permanently cancel a paid service without offering an acceptable equivalent solution, the Client will be refunded the amounts paid corresponding to the cancelled service. AdvisorOne Academy cannot be required to reimburse personal expenses incurred directly by the Client with third parties, including airline tickets, hotels or transportation, unless mandatory legal provisions provide otherwise. This is one of the reasons why taking out appropriate cancellation insurance is recommended for events involving travel.
18. Right of withdrawal – Clients in Switzerland
Swiss law does not provide for a general right of withdrawal for online purchases. Accordingly, unless otherwise provided by mandatory legal provisions, a specific commercial commitment made by AdvisorOne Academy or an express statement relating to the relevant offer, a confirmed order is final. This provision does not affect any rights the Client may have where a service does not comply with the contract.
19. Clients Benefiting from a Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Where mandatory foreign rules, including certain European Union consumer protection rules, apply to the relationship with the Client, the Client benefits from the mandatory rights provided by such legislation. For certain distance contracts concluded with consumers in the European Union, a statutory 14-day withdrawal period may in particular apply.
Client may be asked to expressly request the immediate commencement of the service. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the Client may also be asked, where required by applicable law, to expressly consent to the immediate commencement of the supply of the content and to acknowledge that such commencement may result in the loss of their right of withdrawal. The Client’s mandatory statutory rights remain applicable in all circumstances.
20. No Guarantee of Results
The Academy provides tools, methods, information, exercises and support intended to encourage learning and taking action. However, results obtained may vary depending in particular on the participant’s personal situation, their level of involvement, their consistency, their decisions, the economic environment, market developments and external factors beyond the Academy’s control.
AdvisorOne Academy therefore does not guarantee any level of income, financial performance, return, specific level of savings, specific level of wealth accumulation or financial independence within any given period. Any examples, simulations, case studies or testimonials presented do not constitute a promise of similar results.
21. Investments and Financial Risks
Information relating to investments, financial markets, ETFs, shares, bonds, pensions, real estate or other investment categories is presented for educational purposes. All investments involve risks. The value of an investment may rise or fall, and the invested capital may be partially or entirely lost depending on the product concerned. Past performance is not indicative of future performance. The participant remains solely responsible for any decision to invest or not to invest.
22. Tax, legal, and regulatory information
Tax, legal and financial rules may change and depend on each participant’s personal circumstances. The Academy’s content does not replace an individual assessment by a lawyer, tax adviser, accountant, pension adviser or other qualified professional. AdvisorOne Academy endeavours to provide reliable and educational information but does not guarantee that every piece of content will at all times remain suitable for every individual situation or reflect every legislative development.
23. Intellectual Property
All AdvisorOne Academy content is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. This includes, in particular, videos, presentations, texts, methodologies, workbooks, questionnaires, quizzes, graphics, templates, exercises, PDF documents, recordings, trademarks, logos and training content.
The purchase of a service grants the Client only a personal right to use the relevant resources. Unless prior written approval has been obtained, it is prohibited to reproduce, distribute, resell, publish or transmit the content to third parties, use it to train other persons, incorporate it into a commercial offer, adapt it or exploit it professionally. Any unauthorised use may result in termination of access and, where applicable, the exercise of AdvisorOne Academy’s legal rights.
24. Confidentiality of Group Discussions
Group training and support programmes may lead participants to share personal, financial or professional information. Each participant undertakes to respect the confidentiality of other group members. Without authorisation, it is in particular prohibited to record discussions, take screenshots containing personal information, share another participant’s statements or disclose financial or personal data relating to another member. This confidentiality principle is essential to the proper functioning of the group spaces offered by AdvisorOne Academy.
25. Participant Conduct
AdvisorOne Academy aims to maintain a respectful, supportive and professional environment. Any behaviour involving harassment, discrimination, insults, threatening behaviour, deliberate breaches of confidentiality, repeated unauthorised commercial promotion or serious disruption of sessions may result in a warning or, in the case of serious or repeated behaviour, exclusion from the programme. Any exclusion and its financial consequences will be assessed according to the seriousness of the situation and in compliance with applicable legal provisions.
26. Community
Certain offers may provide access to a private community space. Such access is reserved for authorised persons and may be limited to the duration of the programme. Participants remain responsible for the information they choose to publish in this space. AdvisorOne Academy may moderate or remove content that is clearly contrary to community rules or applicable law.
27. Testimonials, Photographs, and Recordings
Participation in a training course does not automatically grant AdvisorOne Academy an unlimited right to use a participant’s name, image or testimonial for promotional purposes. Where necessary, specific authorisation may be requested. Where an event is photographed or filmed, participants will be informed in an appropriate manner. The rules governing the processing of such data are also set out in the Academy’s Privacy Policy.
28. Availability of the Website and Digital Tools
AdvisorOne Academy makes reasonable efforts to ensure the proper functioning of the website and training platform. However, temporary interruptions may occur in particular due to maintenance, updates, technical failures, security incidents, issues affecting an external service provider or connection problems outside the Academy’s control. A reasonable temporary interruption does not automatically constitute a failure to perform giving rise to a right to a refund. In the event of significant unavailability that genuinely affects the ability to follow a programme, AdvisorOne Academy will take reasonable measures to restore access or provide an equivalent solution.
29. Required Equipment and Internet Connection
The Client is responsible for having the equipment and Internet connection necessary to use the digital services. AdvisorOne Academy cannot be held responsible for problems relating to the Client’s equipment, their browser, their Internet connection, their security settings or a technical incompatibility specific to their environment.
30. Force Majeure and Exceptional Circumstances
AdvisorOne Academy cannot be held liable for any delay or inability to perform a service resulting from an event reasonably beyond its control. This may include, in particular, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, government restrictions, war or conflict, general strikes, border closures, major network outages, significant failure of an essential service provider, inability to travel or events endangering participant safety.
In such circumstances, AdvisorOne Academy will prioritise finding a reasonable solution, such as postponement, a change of format, replacement, credit or a refund of the unperformed portion where appropriate.
31. Liability
AdvisorOne Academy is responsible for its obligations in accordance with applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, AdvisorOne Academy cannot, however, be held liable for decisions freely made by the Client based on what they have learned, financial losses resulting from an investment decision made by the Client, results that differ from the Client’s expectations, damage resulting from improper use of the content or unavailability caused exclusively by a provider or infrastructure outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
32. Data Protection
The processing of personal data is governed by the AdvisorOne Academy Privacy Policy available on the website. The Client is invited to review it before registering.
33. Minors
Certain offers may be specifically designed for young people. Where required by law or by the terms of the offer, registration of a minor must be completed or authorised by their legal representative. AdvisorOne Academy may request confirmation of such authorisation before granting access to the relevant programme.
34. Transfer of Registration
A registration is personal. It may not be assigned, resold or transferred to another person without the prior written authorisation of AdvisorOne Academy. The Academy may accept a transfer where it is materially possible and compatible with the organisation of the relevant programme.
35. Complaints
Any question or complaint relating to an order or service may be sent to: contact@advisoroneacademy.com. AdvisorOne Academy prioritises finding an amicable solution in the event of a disagreement. The Client is encouraged to communicate any difficulty promptly so that a solution can be sought under the best possible conditions.
36. Amendments to These Terms and Conditions
AdvisorOne Academy may amend these Terms and Conditions for the future, in particular due to changes to its services, legal or regulatory developments, changes in technical operations or the launch of new offers. The Terms and Conditions applicable to an order are, in principle, those accepted by the Client at the time of that order. Any subsequent amendment does not retroactively alter the essential terms of an order already concluded, unless agreed by the parties or required by law.
37. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared invalid, unenforceable or contrary to a mandatory rule, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. The relevant provision shall then, where possible, be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects its original purpose.
38. Language
These Terms and Conditions may be available in several languages. In the event of any discrepancy between the different language versions, the French version shall prevail.
39. Governing Law
The contractual relationship with AdvisorOne Academy is governed by Swiss law, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply to the Client’s situation.
40. Jurisdiction
Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction rules provided by law, any dispute relating to these Terms and Conditions shall fall within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Geneva, Switzerland. Any mandatory rights granted to consumers regarding competent jurisdiction remain reserved.
41. Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions
Before completing an online order, the Client is invited to confirm that they: “acknowledge having read and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the AdvisorOne Academy Privacy Policy.” Where necessary to allow immediate access to digital content, a separate confirmation may also be requested regarding the immediate commencement of the service and any potential consequences for a statutory right of withdrawal.
